The Attleboro Arts Museum’s popular Benefit Art Auction returns on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Proceeds from the Auction will fund arts programming for all ages and support the Museum’s mission of involving all audiences of diverse backgrounds in the visual arts through educational programs and engaging arts experiences.

The Museum is a privately supported, non-profit arts institution whose core commitment to Arts for Everyone guides programming and operations.

How to Donate Your Art
The Attleboro Arts Museum invites all artists to donate art of any medium to the Museum’s 17th Benefit Art Auction. This event is regarded as a powerful opportunity for all artists to gain extensive exposure and contribute to a vital cultural resource.

• Let us know that you’ll be donating up to two works of art (framed 2D, jewelry, ceramics, fiber, etc. are all very welcome!) Please complete the “Artist Response Form” and return by September 5, 2008.

• We are asking for donations of your original art to be delivered to the Museum from September 5 – October 10th. Please complete a “Donation Form” for each piece (we are pleased to accept up to two pieces per artist). Please note that 2D work should either be framed or finished on the edges and ready to hang.

Here’s What Happens to Your Donated Art:
• ALL donated artwork will then be displayed in our gallery as part of a three-week Preview Exhibition opening on Friday, Oct 24th, from 6-8p.m.
      - Several events will be held throughout the auction preview period connecting the public,
      press and corporate friends to your art.

• The live Benefit Art Auction will be held Saturday, November 15th, 2008.
      - Doors open at 6pm and the live Auction will begin at 7pm.
      - Ms. Marie Keep of Skinner, Inc. will be serving as auctioneer.

• Online Benefit Auction
Our five-week online auction runs from October 10 – Nov 12. Visitors to www.attleboroartsmuseum.cmarket.com will view your donation, a description of the work, and your biography. A link to your website can be provided. Our online auction launches the bidding in advance of the live auction, expands the audience, and promotes your artwork 24/7.

How to Become an Arts Sponsor
There are three sponsorship tiers for the Attleboro Arts Museum Benefit Art Auction:
1. Major Arts Sponsor: $2500
2. Basic Sponsor: $1000
3. Auction Program Advertiser: ranging from $40 - $350

All tiers of sponsorship entitle sponsors will receive complimentary Auction tickets, Auction program advertising and more.
